Shri Kesari Warmadewa Foundation Celebrates Its 42nd Anniversary, Reinforces Commitment to Developing Excellent Human Resources

Denpasar — The Shri Kesari Warmadewa Foundation celebrated its 42nd Anniversary under the theme "Stronger Together, Greater Future" at the Widya Sabha Uttama Auditorium, Warmadewa University, on Thursday (30 July 2026).

The highlight of the celebration was marked by a ceremonial tumpeng cutting as an expression of gratitude, followed by the presentation of the Satya Karya Nugraha Award to employees recognized for their outstanding dedication and long-term service to the foundation.

The event was attended by members of the Foundation's Board of Trustees, Executive Board, leaders of its operational units, lecturers, administrative staff, employees, and the extended Warmadewa family. The celebration also featured entertainment performances and a lucky draw with a variety of grand prizes for participants.

Chairman of the Shri Kesari Warmadewa Foundation, Prof. Dr. Drs. Anak Agung Gede Oka Wisnumurti, M.Si., stated that the anniversary was not merely a celebration but also an opportunity to reflect on the organization's achievements while preparing strategic directions for the future.

According to him, three key principles should guide the entire Warmadewa community: introspection on what has been accomplished, retrospection on the organization's current condition and ongoing work, and projection toward future goals and aspirations. "Throughout the Foundation's 42-year journey, we have experienced both achievements and challenges. During times of success, we must remain united in developing the institution. Likewise, when facing difficulties, our spirit of togetherness must remain strong," he said.

He expressed gratitude that the Foundation has consistently contributed to the fields of education, healthcare, and social welfare. In education, the Foundation oversees several institutions, including Wish School, SMK Taruna Warmadewa, which specializes in information technology and tourism education, and Warmadewa University, which continues to play a significant role in producing highly qualified human resources. In the healthcare sector, the Foundation operates the Warmadewa Primary Clinic, providing essential healthcare services to both the community and members of the Foundation. More recently, it has expanded its healthcare services through the establishment of Warmadewa General Hospital (RSU Warmadewa), offering more comprehensive medical care. The Foundation also remains actively engaged in social initiatives, including scholarship programs, legal awareness education, environmental cleanliness campaigns, and assistance for underprivileged communities. "The Foundation must continue creating meaningful benefits for society, the nation, and the state. Moving forward, let us grow together so that our positive impact becomes even greater, particularly in improving the quality of human resources," he emphasized.

Prof. Wisnumurti explained that the Foundation currently manages seven operational units, namely Warmadewa University, Warmadewa Primary Clinic, Warmadewa College, SMK Taruna Warmadewa, Wish School, Paswara, and Warmadewa General Hospital. He acknowledged that each unit has developed at a different pace, making collaboration and mutual support among all units essential to ensuring the Foundation's sustainable growth. "Our vision is to develop excellent human resources capable of making meaningful contributions to society, government, the nation, and the state," he affirmed.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Foundation's Board of Trustees, Drs. I Nyoman Yasa, M.Si., described the 42nd anniversary as an important opportunity not only to express gratitude but also to evaluate the organization's journey. He noted that while the Foundation should appreciate its achievements, these accomplishments should also serve as valuable lessons for improving future programs and institutional performance. "This anniversary is an important milestone for all of us. Besides expressing gratitude for our achievements, we must also reflect on our experiences as a basis for refining our future programs," he said. Regarding institutional development, Nyoman Yasa explained that the Foundation currently has no immediate plans to establish additional operational units. Instead, its primary focus is on strengthening the operations of Warmadewa General Hospital, the Foundation's newest institution.

According to him, before pursuing further expansion, the Foundation aims to ensure that all existing units—particularly the hospital—can continue to grow sustainably without becoming a burden to the organization. "If we decide to establish new operational units in the future, they must be carefully evaluated from every perspective to ensure they truly support the Foundation's long-term growth rather than creating additional challenges," he concluded.

Through the spirit of "Stronger Together, Greater Future," the Shri Kesari Warmadewa Foundation hopes to further strengthen unity across its entire community while expanding its contributions to education, healthcare, and social development, ultimately supporting the creation of high-quality, globally competitive human resources.
